Hi there!
I’m Mackenzie Bruen! Standing at a mighty 5'0" (yes, I add an extra half-inch on good hair days), I’m a powerhouse mezzo-soprano with a high mix-belt and a love for all things theatrical. From workshopping new musicals to belting out Sondheim at 54 Below, I’ve tackled roles that let me sing, tap, act, and even master the fine art of zip-zap-zop (champion status, thank you very much).
When I’m not on stage or in front of the camera, you can probably find me buried in a book or hunting down the best vegan eats in the city. I’m also an advisor and coach at Broadway Artists Alliance, where I help the next generation of performers sharpen their skills and find their own Broadway-bound voices as well as a social media manager.
Fun fact: I have a 2nd-degree black belt, so if you ever need someone to sing AND fight off the angry New Yorkers.
